Penny Pinching
Times are tough. It seems everyone is feeling the squeeze right about now with rising food prices, and especially with gas prices jumping (seemingly) every day. One thing my parents always said, and which I am only now beginning to understand, is that kids are expensive! Clothing, toys, daycare - it all adds up! I'm using my dislike of buying diapers to inspire me forth to potty train Molly this summer (more on that I'm sure).
Luckily for us, Molly is easy (and cheap!) to entertain. I'm sure in a few years she'll be demanding tickets to Hannah whoever and the latest video game console. That's why for the time being Josh and I are enjoying being cheap with her outings. Earlier this year when Josh had his conference in Orlando, we never even made it to Disney World. And guess what? It didn't matter! Molly was just as happy to trot around Downtown Disney, people watch, and try and steal popsicles (remember that one?) On the recent Key West trip the #1 highlight for Molly was the hotel pool. Coming in a close second was this garbage can sitting outside an ice cream shop. Josh and I got some strange looks as we relaxed and enjoyed a brief break while Molly happily played with the garbage can for 5 to 10 minutes.

I don't see anything wrong it...as long as you have hand sanitizer on hand.
